TCU defensive end Jerry Hughes has been named one of five finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, honoring the nation's best defensive player. Hughes tops the nation with 14 sacks while ranking in the top five in tackles for loss (17.5), fumbles forced (five) and fumbles recovered (three). He also has two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.

After a 16-day break from action, No. 15 TCU closes the regular season Saturday with a home game against Air Force on Senior Day and Heroes Day at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Kickoff is 2:30 p.m. A victory would give the Horned Frogs their third 10-win season in the last four years and the sixth since 2000. It would be the fifth in the last seven years under head coach Gary Patterson. Before 2000, TCU only had four 10-win seasons in its history.
